This fall, Apprenticeship Manitoba and the Apprenticeship and Certification Board will host the fourth annual Apprenticeship Awards of Distinction designed to commemorate those who have shared their time and talents to train apprentices and to raise the profile of apprenticeship training and pride in the skilled trades.
The 2010 Apprenticeship Awards of Distinction gala dinner will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Fort Garry Hotel. This event will honour the outstanding contributions that employers, journeypersons and instructors have made to the Manitoba Apprenticeship training system and in the promotion of the skilled trades. This event will also recognize the valued support and long-standing service from members of the Apprenticeship and Certification Board and the Apprenticeship Provincial Advisory Committees and showcase apprentice skills in areas such as in the preparation of meals.
