Michel Barsalou, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, swears in the 2010-2011 Executive of the MCC
One highlight of the MCC’s AGM is the induction of its new Board members.
The structure of the MCC Board is designed to reflect the incredible diversity of its membership while balancing representation between local chambers and direct corporate members.
This is the first Board coming out of the review of the MCC’s by-laws. The new by-laws shrunk the Board from 42 to 37 members so as to enhance the effectiveness of the meetings and enhance participation in the discussions.
The Board was appointed at the MCC’s recent 79th Annual General Meeting, held in Russell from April 30-May 2, 2010.
