Two firsts for Bothwell Cheese at the prestigious British Empire Cheese Show

Bothwell Cheese has been awarded two first-place trophies at the prestigious 82nd Annual British Empire Cheese Show in the Marble Cheddar and Monterey Jack classes. 

This is the fourth consecutive year the Manitoba-based cheese maker has taken first place with Marble Cheddar, and the first year it’s received first place for Monterey Jack (last year it came in third).

The British Empire Cheese Show has a long and distinguished history. Since 1927, cheese makers from around the world have entered the competition, hoping to win one of its highly coveted awards. Billed as Canada’s largest display of Canadian & International Cheese, the show is presented by the Central Ontario Cheese Makers Association.
